What is the Cloud of Witnesses Project?

God has been writing your story. It's time to tell it.

Cloud of Witnesses exists to encourage, strengthen, and connect believers by making God's work visible in their stories.

We know that work is happening everywhere — in quiet moments of surrender, in the friend who showed up at the right time, in the church that felt like coming home. But too often, those stories stay hidden. Lived faithfully. But invisibly.

That's what we're here to change. We help Christians share their testimonies through guided storytelling and visual mapping — giving every believer a clear, safe, meaningful way to put into words what God has done in their life, and to see how that story connects to the lives around them.

Our vision is a living cloud of witnesses, where every story of God's faithfulness is preserved and celebrated — giving every believer a glimpse of how God sees His people. Not isolated. Not forgotten. Woven together into something larger than any one of us could see on our own.

Two church members with a problem they couldn't ignore.

Cofounders Jon and Travis had spent their lives in local churches, watching God move in ordinary people in extraordinary ways. Over time, they kept running into the same quiet tragedy: the stories of God’s faithfulness to those ordinary people were often unknown, and usually quickly forgotten. When Jon’s grandmother died in 2019, he realized that he knew the details of her life story, but had never learned the details of her faith life.

Believers knew they had a testimony, but didn't know where to begin, or whether it was even worth telling. Churches sensed the power of testimony but lacked a clear, repeatable way to invite people into it together. And so faith kept being lived quietly — faithfully, but invisibly.

We believe that if God is the author of every one of these stories, they belong somewhere permanent. If believers are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, we should be able to see it.

So we built a place to make that possible.

For the global church. For you personally.

There's a reason the enemy works so hard to make believers feel alone in their faith — like their story is too ordinary, too messy, or too small to matter. It’s because isolated stories are easy to dismiss. But connected stories are impossible to ignore.

For the global church, Cloud of Witnesses is an act of collective memory. As stories surface through churches, cohorts, and ministry partnerships, something remarkable happens: believers discover how their lives are connected to others, to their congregations, and to generations of faithfulness that came before them. A living record forms — not just of individual conversions, but of a movement. Stories of salvation, perseverance, suffering, answered prayers, and quiet faith, preserved together as communities remembering what God has done.

For you, it's more personal than that. It's the chance to finally see your own life the way God sees it — not as a series of random events, but as a story He has been writing all along. Guided and purposeful. Connected to others. Worth telling.

Your story encourages someone who is struggling. It strengthens someone who is doubting. It connects someone who feels alone to the same God who found you.

That's why every story matters. Including yours.
