Think of it as a "spiritual family tree" that preserves stories of God's faithfulness across generations. We also prioritize featuring and highlighting powerful testimonies to encourage believers in their walk with Christ, showing how God works through ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

  • You answer our guided questions, then our curation team writes up the long-form version based on your answers. We’ll add your story to the site and tag the people you mentioned as having influenced your faith. Others can read your story and discover the spiritual connections that shaped you. Over time, this creates a web of interconnected faith stories showing how God works through and connects ordinary people.

  • Anyone who claims Jesus as Lord can participate and share their testimony. While our platform focuses on Christian testimonies, we welcome people at any stage of their spiritual journey who want to honor Christ through their story.

Sharing your story

  • Every story matters. God works through ordinary people in extraordinary ways, and your testimony might be exactly what someone else needs to hear. Some of the most powerful testimonies come from everyday believers.

  • There's no required length. Some people answer the guided questions very briefly, while others write longer stories. Our guided questions help you tell your story at whatever length feels natural, and then our curation team writes those stories out longform, often condensing answers and focusing on major themes.

  • Yes, you can edit or update your testimony at any time. We understand that perspectives change and you might want to add details or clarify points.

  • We respect people's privacy. If someone asks to be removed from your testimony, we'll work with you to edit the reference while preserving the essence of your story. Just contact hello@cloudofwitnesses.co for help.

Privacy and Safety

  • Published testimonies are publicly visible on our platform. This helps create the interconnected web of faith stories that makes Cloud of Witnesses valuable for encouraging others.

  • Only share what you're comfortable making public. Our guided questions help you focus on the spiritual aspects of your story rather than overly personal details.

  • Yes, you can delete your testimony at any time. However, if others have referenced your spiritual influence in their stories, those connections may remain unless they also choose to edit their testimonies.

Connecting Stories

  • When you write your testimony, you can tag people who influenced your faith. If they also have testimonies on the platform, this creates a visible connection showing the chain of spiritual influence.

  • Use our search feature to look for names, churches, or locations. As our community grows, you'll be able to discover spiritual connections you never knew existed.

  • That's fine! You can still mention their influence in your story. You may want to invite them to participate in the project, or our team may reach out to invite them to share their own testimony, but there's no requirement for them to participate.

  • Absolutely. Many of our most meaningful connections are to deceased spiritual influences like grandparents, pastors, or mentors. Their legacy continues through the people they influenced.

  • Yes, if you have a close personal relationship with them. Email our team at hello@cloudofwitnesses.co to get started.

  • You can contact us to request factual corrections. We also encourage you to share your own testimony, which might provide additional context or perspective on shared experiences.

Technical Questions

  • During the Beta launch of the platform, you do not need to create an account in order to access the site. With the release of future versions, you may need an account to submit testimonies and access certain features. This helps us maintain the integrity of the platform and allows you to manage your content.

  • Yes! We encourage sharing testimonies to help others discover the platform and be encouraged by faith stories.

  • Our platform works best on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.

For Churches and Organizations

  • Absolutely! Churches can encourage members to share testimonies and preserve their congregation's spiritual heritage. Every testimony that mentions a specific church will be available to read on that church’s profile page. Contact us about church partnership opportunities and bulk licenses.

  • We're developing partnership options for churches and ministries. Reach out to discuss how Cloud of Witnesses can serve your community's specific needs.

  • Pastors can share their own testimonies, encourage congregation members to participate, and use the platform to discover the spiritual connections within their church community. Pastors always qualify for free Premium accounts - just email hello@cloudofwitnesses.co to receive your discount code.

Donations and Support

  • Cloud of Witnesses is a nonprofit ministry. Donations help us develop and maintain the platform, preserve testimonies for future generations, and keep the service free for users.

  • We are organized as a nonprofit corporation and are pursuing 501(c)(3) status. Once approved, donations will be tax-deductible. Consult your tax advisor regarding current deductibility.

  • Visit our donation page to choose your monthly partnership level: Story Keeper ($10), Storyteller ($25), Story Producer ($50), or Legacy Director ($100). You can also input any monthly amount you want.

  • Donations support platform development, hosting costs, community outreach, staff support, and preserving testimonies for future generations.
